Internet Finally!

Bonjour bonjour,

I was finally able to get internet late yesterday afternoon thankfully! It has been a very busy couple of days trying to take care of all that house keeping sort of stuff which has been taking up way too much time!

So anyways, now to what has been keeping me so busy and grateful for the internet!
On Saturday when I arrived, there was a shuttle waiting to take us to Laval and I met a group of girls who would end up being my floormates. After unapcking, we decided to head over to 'Le Pub' which is the on campus - you guessed it - pub. The food there was very delicious and decently cheap with some great salads so I am sure we will go often enough. We were all feelign pretty wiped so we all just stayed in for the night to get some much needed sleep. And below is where you will find my very cozy room!

Sunday was somewhat eventful with a little shopping excursion. There is, very conveniently placed, a grocery store followed by three malls. And no I did not mistake one for three, there are ligitamtely three different malls in a row about a 15 minute walk from our building! The real treasure that we found was the Dollarama...holy moly a tonne of good stuff in there. Between the $2 pot, some 50cent utencils, cutting boards, tupperware, laundry bags and soap it is safe to say that I have rediscovered the 7 year old's love for the dollar store. We topped that up with a stop at the grocery store for some breakfast and lunch, or 'petit déjeuner' and 'dînner', foods and headed home.

Yesterday was incredibly busy between the classes, finding internet, paying for our fridges, getting our food money, figurign out where the gym was, cooking our first dinner (which was a successful teriyaki vermicelli chicken stir fry) the day was packed. Thus, the more relaxed day today was mucho
appreciated. In the program there is the 'Groupe d'animation' that has planned over 130 activities for us to sign up for, most of which are free so that was the only thing on the list today to sign up for thankfully!

With that being said I will try to post pictures from those outings as they happen but for now its back to the same old school routine...

À la prochaine!

P.S. I apologize now for any spelling/grammar/runon sentence mistakes. Switching between languages is getting to me so please feel free to laugh at my obvious lack of command of the english language:)
