Salut mes amis!
It is sad to say that the weather here is really rather terrible compared to back home so no hike was possible on Saturday:(
Instead, on Sunday we took the bus to Vieu Quebec to walk around, get some breakfast and maybe a bit of homework...
We were able to find the most amazig breakfast place thus far and it was absolutely delicious! I took a picture of everyones meals of course and some of the sights we seen as we walked off the monstrosity of the meals we had!
This was my Petite Déjeuner Suprême, which included french toast, potatoes, eggs, toast, bacon, fresh fruit and homemade strawberry jam. Absolutely amazing!
Another massive meal of, I kid you not, an inch thick vergetarian omelette.
Finally then there was the salmon and asparagus eggs benedict breakie.
Voilà mon amie Lauren, from Saskatoon. I think she is the smallest yet fiestiest person I have met and is always able to tell a story and have you gasping for breath from laughing so hard!
Robyn here is about to devour her meal! She is also from Calgary, and my neighbor in the dorms, and our resident 'Hipster' as we like to call her. I have never seen someone be able to pull together such awesome outfits from Value Village gems!
Just the front of the restaurant which was called l'Accent.
We spent the day just walking along Rue St. Jean and there was an old Protestant church that they converted ito a library.
The inside was alot smaller than I thought it would be but it was still very beautiful and eerily quiet. (WE weren't supposed to take pictures but I snuck one in there.)
Another picture for Paula, these were really cool (and narrow) spiral staircases, just don't get any ideas;)
Gold Jesus. Grandma now I know you'd love it here. He's at least ten feet tall too by the way.
Just a nice view of the city as we were hiking up one of the steep streets of Vieu Quebec.
Please soak up some extra sun for me!!!
À la prochaine!
Looks yummyyy!!!! I will take more food pictures! We should have a food wall in our house of all the awesome things we have made and ate. Looks like now would be a good time to start a collection!
